The Demo Lab is now hiring student assistants for Spring 2025!!

Requirements:
– Must be an OSU student
– Must have completed General Chemistry 1 and 2 with a C or higher
– Must be some form of STEM major
Job Description:
– Accurately and efficiently prepare and deliver demonstrations to chemistry professors’ classrooms.
– Understand demonstration protocols and procedures and be able to present the demos to others while explaining underlying scientific concepts.
– Lead outreach events, interacting with audiences of children ages 6-12.
– Master laboratory safety procedures, getting certified in chemical hazards and fire extinguisher training.
