Nice experiments Casey! There is a lot of variety in both texture and density that you presented, and it comes together as a finished drawing quite well. All your marks appear really dynamic and fluid. What would also happen if you structure to have different intentionalities (ie a straight line or organized grid of dots)? You will also find that some tools work better than others, so feel free to incorporate more as you make your still life.
Notice also how the density of mark-making (the quality of a thin vs. thick line), also corresponds with how you might develop light or dark areas in your still life ink drawing. You can even treat this grid drawing as a reference chart. Diluting the ink with water also allows you to develop even more variation, but be careful not to completely lose the beauty of these marks you just showed. Again, great work!
