Public relations is must in any type of organization, but in agriculture education I feel that it’s crucial. There are many ways to reach out to our students, school and community. Two strategies that can be used to to provide evidence that an AgriScience program has great impact and importance ; News Articles( Including Social Media and Written articles) , and Adult Farmer Education Seminars.
By using news articles it allows other to see the accomplishments of the chapter. News articles can be used in many various forms, such as in a newspaper, and on social media sites. By providing articles in different platforms provides the news to various audiences. The articles could also be used in many ways such as , announcing when events are that the public can attend. Articles could also provide numerical data about the students and the chapter. These articles could also highlight progress that is being made by the chapter in any of the different areas of the POA; Student Development, Chapter Development, and Community Development.

A great way to gain good relationship with the community is by providing educational options. Adult Farmer programs are essential from AgriScience Programs. Adult farmer programs allow agriculturist in the area to gain new knowledge or enhance already existing knowledge. With the AgriSciecne Program being part of the Adult education program it allows the agriculturists in the area to get aquatinted with the students, and build a relationship that could lead to opportunities. Providing opportunities to the community , gains their support. This program provides evidence because you can gauge interest and supporters by how many attendees that you may have at any adult education program.
These strategies provide evidence that the AgriScience Program provides both impact and importance because if articles allow other to see the impact that the program has on the students and the chapter through their successes. Through the farmers new knowledge they can achieve more , and as a consumer of most of their products we can witness the impact that our AgriScience program has made. Without importance of the program them there would be no impact on the students, chapter , community.
