About Us

Cultural Ambassador for Resident Enrichment (CARE)

We are a program at The Ohio State University’s Office of Residence Life, primarily organized and run by committed undergraduate students in residence halls. This cohort is comprised of students from various residence halls on campus, and the Program Coordinator for International Students at the Office of Student Life.

CARE Ambassadors are essential for the transition, well-being, and success of international students. As a representative of the international students in their residence hall, CARE Ambassadors exercise leadership and strive to build a welcoming and strong community among both international and domestic students. CARE Ambassadors are given the freedom to plan events for specific Residential halls in order to better integrate domestic and international students. Our Ambassadors also offer social, academic, and educational support to residential international students by building several bridges across our diverse campus.
