Project Pitch
Our Capstone project is named “Salesforce & Arlo.” It is about working with Salesforce that is the leading CRM (Customer Relationship Management) which is being served from cloud. Our job is to integrate IoT devices from different companies into Salesforce and build an automated system to bring all the email notifications that is being sent out by IoT devices into Salesforce database management after detecting unwanted motions and create the case automatically.
The main purpose of this project are helping the elderly people and building technology for smart home. Let’s say elderly people fell inside restroom and cannot reach for help. Assume another scenario where your basement has water leakage and nobody is home. IoT also detects these kind of unfamiliar motion and sent out the email notifications with the video of the incident. We then parse those emails and raise a case so that helps get there on time based on its priority. This automated case creation saves time and decrease the workload of the customer service represntatives who otherwise would have to create the case manually.
