Year in Review

[ “Year in Review”  is where you should reflect on the past year and show how you have evolved as a person and as a student.  You may want to focus on your growth in a particular area (as a leader, scholar, researcher, etc.) or you may want to talk about your overall experience over the past year.  For more information, go to: http://honors-scholars.osu.edu/e-portfolio. I will be taking History 3570 in the spring semester of 2017 and History 3670 in either the spring semester of 2018 or 2019.

Original Inquiry: I hope to pursue research through the business school in their Human Resource department or in the History department in my junior year

Through my involvement in College Republicans I was able to meet many of the local politicians from Ohio. Prior to the Ohio State v Nebraska football game I attended a Rob Portman Tailgate in which we were able to meet and talk to Rob Portman about the upcoming election. Although none of my friends in attendance were apart of College Republicans nor a supporter of Portman this was a fun experience to be able to talk to the sitting senator of Ohio Rob Portman.
