Sprint focus areas for Fall 2019 are as follows:
- Hemp – Agriculture
- CBD – Consumer
- Tech – Digital Products
- Public Health and Safety
Student teams will be responsible for producing the following:
- One page summary describing their concept and their story.
- Final presentation to be used for pitching their idea to the judges.
Final concepts must:
- Include social equity aspect.
- Be derived from one of the four identified focus areas.
- Propose a solution to an identified problem.
Students will be placed with a team after the 1st workshop
- Students can form teams on their own; generally we recommend 3-5 students per team.
- If a student does not have a team, they will be placed on teams based on the focus area of their interest.
- Each team has to have at least one student present at all five workshops.
Ideas are NOT restricted to ancillary products
- Marketing Campaign
- Policy Reform Proposals
- Non-Profit Relief Programs
Top 3 teams will be selected for Final Pitch event on November 14th
- Student teams can win up to $3,000 in prizes.
- Criteria for judging will be released by the end of October.
