Artifacts

For me, my artifact in high school wasn’t a specific object, it was an experience. All throughout my four years in high school, swimming was something I was almost obsessed with. I placed a lot of my self-worth in my work ethic and performance in a pool. For a long time, it really helped me keep a balance in my life. It kept me busy and in shape, but at the same time that devotion can take its toll. I had to learn the valuable lesson early in high school to avoid burning myself out. That’s probably the most valuable lesson I’ve learned so far, that dedication goes a long way, but you need to learn your limits.

About Me

First and foremost, go Bucks! I’ve been a huge Ohio State fan my entire life and there are few things I love more in this world than the atmosphere on campus. That being said, I’m originally from Cleveland, and have grown up there my whole life, but I’m excited to explore Columbus. While on campus, I’m a member of the Air Force ROTC program, Engineers Without Boarders, and of course, Humanitarian Engineering Scholars. All three of these programs emphasize service, responsibility, and integrity, all traits I keep close at all times. When I’m not busy with homework or studying, I love to swim, play basketball, or just relax with a group of friends. I’m also finding it very enjoyable to just wander around campus and see what new things I can find. There’s always a new event or activity on campus I wasn’t aware of. That being said, I encourage all others to explore as well, we’re on the best campus in the world.
