Dr. Da ChenCurrent Position: Assistant Professor in Food Chemistry and Rheology Da received his Bachelor in 2010. He then pursued a master’s degree in Ocean University of China in 2013. Da continued a PhD study in University of Auckland, New Zealand on plant cell walls. In 2019, Da worked as a postdoc in Department of Food Science at Purdue University focus on fibrillar proteins. He then moved to Dr. Campanella’s lab and worked on plant protein gels and meat analogues for two years. In March 2022, Da started his employment as a tenure-track assistant professor in University of Idaho. His research is now specifically on dairy and plant-based foods. |
