The radial balance is the one that interests me the most. It has the most balance between the positive and negative space and it is the more complex, with more shapes and sizes of pieces.
The asymmetrical balance is least interesting to me. It doesn’t have as much balance between the positive and negative space and there’s very little complexity to it. Adding some smaller pieces, like in the top right corner, would help even out the balance between the white and black space.
I say the best piece here is the first radial geometric piece. The shapes are very sharp, the negative and positive is very balanced and the shapes are varied and dynamic. The 4 quad rents are all replicated perfectly.
My least favorite is the last yellow one. The shapes are not very dynamic and they are all very similar and positioned similarly. Also the yellow and the white provide a very light contrast, a darker color could provide better contrast.
