Year in Review

This past year I have had many new experiences and have been able to grow stronger and better as the year as gone on. I have become the VP of Finance, been elected to the executive board of club field hockey, and have been a peer mentor to a freshman in the International Affairs scholars program. All of these experiences have expanded my horizons and diversified my activities. I believe I have passed my expectations for myself for the year as I have grown as a person and allowed myself to get involved in as many things as possible while not spreading myself too thin. Experiences such as being the VP Finance for a sorority are opportunities that don’t come along every day and are not easy to get. If you had told me a year ago that I would have had this position I would not have believed you whatsoever. I have continued to come out of my shell this year and I could not be happier about that. While the first semester did not go as well as I had hopped academically I still built off of the previous year and upped the semester gpa. This semester will also be a significant improvement from fall semester and I hope to continue to get better and better.
