Resume

I believe my resume is very clear and concise. It does it’s job in getting the point across to employers in the 30 seconds- 1 minute that they will quickly look at it. It also provides enough information that I will be able to build off of it during interviews and be able to talk about my experiences. My previous two internships have been extremely useful in my growth as a student as as a working woman. Last summer, I worked at Aramark at Catholic University as an Administrative intern which provided me with the experience in a professional setting and helped me get acclimated to an adult lifestyle along with improving my communication skills.

Additionally, being Vice President of Finance for Delta Gamma has allowed me to grow and understand the technical aspects of running a business. I am in charge of all of the finances for a 200 person chapter with a $652,000 budget, essentially I am running a small business. Taking charge of this as a 20 year old who is also a full time student has been challenging but well worth the work. I have learned how to properly make a budget for the upcoming year, administer dues and fees and communicate concisely and effectively with our national offices.

One of the main skills that I possess that sets me apart from my peers is my competitiveness. I have never been one to give up. I continuously put myself out there in order to achieve my goals and that transfers over to my work life. While this could sometimes be considered a negative in the fact that it could get the best of me, I can also work very well in a group setting working with others as well as helping others achieve their goals.
