About Me

 Welcome to my Blog Page!

I am a native of Ohio ( a Buckeye) and also proud to say I am a graduate of The Ohio State University. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Masters degree in Marketing and Communications. I also have a certification in TESOL to teach English as a Second Language and a Graduate Certificate in” Bilingualism for English Language Learners” from Harvard Graduate School of Education. I currently teach the following courses here at OSU: ESEPSY 1159: Online Learning Strategies and Skills, GenED 1201- GE Bookends Launch Course, and  English Composition 1901, 1902, and 5901 in the Intercultural English Language Programs with The Department of Teaching and Learning.

I am passionate about helping students pursue and achieve their academic and personal goals. I have worked in university settings for over 15 years and just cannot seem to stay away! I  also serve as an instructor in the English as a Second Language Programs here at OSU and work with students from all over the world. I absolutely love meeting students from such diverse cultures and backgrounds and helping them meet their academic goals.

Outside of work and school I enjoy traveling, learning new languages, volunteering for various community activities and organizations, involvement in my church, and reading a good book!  I also enjoy spending time with my amazing family and friends. I truly enjoy teaching at one of the largest universities in the country and derive my energy from working with a diverse group of students. I am here to educate, encourage, and inspire all of those I come in contact with.

Go Bucks!
