Farmer’s Markets, Farm Markets and Farm Stands are fun, vivacious stopping places for consumers. Social, health and economic concerns all drive the local foods movement, with a day at a great Farmer’s Market showing how it all works together. Our Butler County Local Foods project began in 2014 to help connect local consumers with local growers. Hopefully this information will increase the participation in the local foods movement in Butler County. Data was gathered to create a list of local growers and this information was compiled in the Butler County Local Foods Directory in 2014. The 2015 update, Butler County Local Foods Guide, is available here and also at our website, butler.osu.edu.
