Year in Review

[ “Year in Review”  is where you should reflect on the past year and show how you have evolved as a person and as a student.  You may want to focus on your growth in a particular area (as a leader, scholar, researcher, etc.) or you may want to talk about your overall experience over the past year.  For more information, go to: http://honors-scholars.osu.edu/e-portfolio. About Me

Hey everyone! My name is Zach Burton, and I’m a first-year student at The Ohio State University from Springdale, Arkansas. I’m currently pursuing a Sports Journalism & Business Administration in Marketing dual-degree, with a minor in Music Performance. Ever since I was nine years old, I’ve wanted to work as a sports anchor and/or reporter for a major sports company, preferably ESPN. I’m passionate about numerous aspects of life, but sports have always been at the top of the list for me. Thus far at Ohio State, I’ve taken steps to further my passion by getting involved with Scarlet & Gray Sports Radio here on campus, as well as being accepted into the Media, Marketing, & Communications Scholars Program. I’m also an active member of Undergraduate Student Government, the African-American Voices Gospel Choir, and the Program for Advancing Scholarship & Service (PASS).                                                 IMG_0258                           IMG_1165
