Year in Review
[ “Year in Review” is where you should reflect on the past year and show how you have evolved as a person and as a student. You may want to focus on your growth in a particular area (as a leader, scholar, researcher, etc.) or you may want to talk about your overall experience over the past year. At Ohio State, I am involved in the Media, Marketing, and Communications Scholars Program. In this program, students are challenged with real world group projects that allows them to gain skills of collaboration and develop their professional skills. There’s an emphasis on marketing and learning how to use media programs such as Indesign and Adobe create cloud programs.
About Me
Hello,
My name is Sarah Burger and I am from Palatine, IL. I am a first year at Ohio State University studying finance in the Fisher College of Business. In my first year at Ohio State, I have gotten involved in the Undergraduate Business Women’s Association, the Professional Development Program, Fisher Citizenship Program, and Partnering Up for Pets. Involvement in these organizations have allowed me to develop my communication and problem solving skills. In the future, I am hoping to gain leadership experience within these organizations. I would also like to continue to find new ways to volunteer because of my passion and previous experiences of volunteering.
