About Me

I am currently the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Professor of Psychology at The Ohio State University Newark. I earned a B.S. in psychology with departmental honors from the University of Richmond (Senior thesis: “Gender differences in the use of spatial categories in attention” advised by L. Elizabeth Crawford, Ph.D.). I received a M.S. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Ohio University (Dissertation: “The influence of nicotine craving and personality characteristics on risky decision making in nicotine dependent college students” advised by Julie Suhr, Ph.D.). I completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral clinical internship at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center, and an APA-accredited post-doctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island.
