About The Orchestra

The Buckeye Philharmonic Orchestra at The Ohio State University is a student-run symphony orchestra dedicated to giving all eager instrumentalists the chance to play challenging music in a social setting. We pride ourselves in producing quality music while maintaining a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

The orchestra plays a full symphonic repertoire and performs one concert each semester. Musicians in the orchestra can also participate in community outreach events through chamber music performances. The Buckeye Philharmonic Orchestra rehearses Monday evenings during the Autumn and Spring semesters. Entrance into the orchestra is based on auditions taking place near the beginning of each semester. Click here for more audition information.
