Hi everyone! My name is Shannon Bubenhofer and I’m a sophomore studying Chemical Engineering with a focus in Biomolecular Engineering. I’ve always been curious how things work, and with a strong interest in math and science, particularly chemistry, I decided ChemE was the way to go. After I graduate from Ohio State, I hope to work in research and development, specifically with pharmaceuticals or on molecular level solutions to issues and problems in the life sciences related to the environment, industry, food production, biotechnology, or medicine.
Outside of the classroom, I am serve as the co-director of marketing for STRIDE running club, am a member of Women-In Engineering, and the International Affairs Scholars Program Global Citizenship Team.
