On this page I will be examining and explaining different learning technologies, I have utilized for my academic success.
Trello:
Trello is an application that can be utilized to organize task, deadlines and important engagements. On Trello there are four boards to organize your task, the four boards are : Resources, To- do, Doing and Done. The main advantage of Trello is that, it gives a nice large visual representation of the four boards and the task you need to complete. The interface is great for individuals who are visual and love the satisfaction of actually seeing the working process of completing a task. If you are not a visual person or you prefer a simplified list of the actions you need to complete, Trello may not be for you.

Anki:
Anki is my favorite program, I think its the best tool you can utilize to remember information. Anki is a flash card program that is based upon the notion of spaced repetition. On Anki you can create many different types of flash cards, the main big three are called: cloze deletion card, basic card and image occlusion. Cloze deletion is just a flash card, similar to a fill in the blank problem. A basic card is a regular flash card, that is front and back. Image occlusion is a card used to learn an image, essentially you can block out certain parts of the image and those would be your flash cards. The best component of Anki is that it is based upon the idea of spaced repetition. Spaced repetition is the idea that you remember things better by reviewing it on a spaced interval of time, this concept has been proven to be an effective way to remember information. For Example reviewing a flash card at 1.00pm and then reviewing it again at 1:10 pm. if you are a non visual learner Anki may not be for you, because flash cards are a visual learning tool. Also creating flash cards takes a lot of time, for some this can be draining.
Below are examples of Anki card types:

Quizlet:
Quizlet is another flash card program, I used quizlet before I found out about Anki. On quizlet you can create your own flash cards. You can create cards that are like questions or cards that give information. The interface of Quizlet is also easier to use, and takes less time to familiarize with. The main strengths of quizlet is that it is good for visual learners and that you can create your own questions. Due to these functions, quizlet is a great entity for actively learning information. Like Anki if you are a non visual learner, Quizlet may not be for you. Creation of the flash cards also takes time, for some that maybe bothersome.
