The British Invasion
This past May semester, I participated in a study abroad program though Ohio State called The British Invasion. For this program, we spent two weeks on campus in Columbus, learning all about the music of The British Invasion in the 1960’s. We focused on artists such as the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, The Who, and many more. After two weeks in Columbus, we traveled to London and Liverpool to see and experience everything we learned about in class, and we visited all of the important locations of this period. Of course, we also took a lot of time to sight see and explore England!
I have never been oversees before, so this trip was an amazing experience for me! I have been a huge Beatles fan since I was little, as well as a huge music enthusiast in general, so I was so excited that this was the focus of my studies while in England!
This blog is place where I recorded my experiences from this class and abroad in England. I wrote about my experiences each day in London and Liverpool, and I posted them all to this site once I got back to the States! I hope you enjoy them!
