Dr. Matt Briggs

Dr. Matt Briggs PT, DPT, AT, PhD, is a Board Specialty Certified Sports Physical Therapist, Athletic Trainer, and Researcher at the OSU Sports Medicine Research Institute, Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics, and lecturer in the Division of Physical Therapy at The Ohio State University. He is also serves as the Director of the Sports Physical Therapy Residency at OSU Sports Medicine. His primary research interests include the evaluation of neuromuscular and biomechanical factors related musculoskeletal injury, clinical outcomes, and residency/fellowship training.  He maintains part-time clinical practice in OSU’s Sports Medicine Physical Therapy Clinic and co-directs the Clinical Outcomes Research Coordinator program and Movement Analysis and Performance Laboratory at the Jameson Crane Sports Medicine Institute.
