The next T1DE group meetings with be on August 8^th. At 1pm on the 8^th we will have our first Type 1 Diabetes Caregiver support group. This group will be for any partner, spouse, family member, co-worker or friend of someone with Type 1 Diabetes. Please contact Dr. Breedlove at aaron.breedlove@osumc.edu to RSVP.

Also on August 8^th  the usual Type1 Diabetes support group will meet at 3pm. This will be a larger than normal meeting with lots of information so please try to make it. RSVP for the link to join through telehealth.

Please join us on May 20th, 2025 at 4 pm for our Type 1 Diabetes support group. We will follow up on our conversation about food and T1D burnout. You can also send me any topics you would like to discuss.

We are excited to announce the opening of a new specialized clinic dedicated to supporting individuals living with Type 1 diabetes.  Our clinic will be led by Dr. Aaron Breedlove. The program is designed to address the unique emotional, behavioral, and physical challenges that come with managing Type 1 diabetes.

At our clinic, we offer:

• Individual therapy to help manage mood symptoms, burnout, and other stressors that may accompany diabetes care.
• Support for families dealing with the impact of a Type 1 diabetes diagnosis.
• Coping strategies for dealing with daily blood sugar fluctuations, dietary challenges, and navigating the health care system.
• Group therapy sessions to foster community and shared experiences among individuals living with diabetes.

Whether you’re newly diagnosed or have been managing T1D for years, our goal is to provide compassionate, specialized care that improves your mental and emotional well-being.
