Our rationale in choosing this condition:

According to the World Health Organization, there are approximately 1.38 million new cases and over 450,000 deaths annually from breast cancer. As advanced healthcare providers we will encounter individuals with this diagnosis or history and we hope to gain a more advanced knowledge on the disease pathophysiology and improve our understanding so that we may educate others. More than this, our lives have been altered and changed by a breast cancer diagnosis.

  1. I wanted to know if you have any case studies that address diversity such as race and gender. I am particularly interested in finding out if there are relative difference in the outcomes in the Lesbian community
