About Me

My name is Madison Brandenstein. I am from Novi, Michigan and am in the Advocates for Communities and Education scholars program. Here at The Ohio State, I am studying Human Development and Family sciences. After completing my major I will be attending graduate school for occupational therapy. I love science and want to become an occupational therapist to help patients, especially senior citizens recover to live a normal life. I am very good at working with people and can work with many personalities. Throughout high school, I learned that I was very interested in working in the health sciences department after taking biology, environmental science, and psychology. After having a family suffer a medical problem and having to work hard to regain their health I knew occupational therapy would be a great job for me. Throughout college, I hope to learn how I can become a positive addition to society and meet many amazing people along the way.
