President – Rudra Kamat, Junior
“I am a third year undergraduate student at Ohio State majoring in Neuroscience with a specialization in Molecular & Cellular on the pre-med track. I currently work as a research assistant for the Townsend Lab in the Department of Neurosurgery. Outside of BRAIN, I’m also involved with BuckeyeThon, Alpha Epsilon Delta, and volunteer at the Wexner Medical Center and Nationwide Children’s Hospital. In my free time I enjoy reading, trying new foods, and exploring the city!”
Vice President – Emma Dodd, Junior
“I am a third year neuroscience major on the pre-med track. At Ohio State, I am a Neuroscience Ambassador, a peer mentor for organic chemistry, and I am currently an active member of Alpha Phi Omega. Also, I am a volunteer volunteer at Akron Children’s Hospital. Outside of school, I enjoy going for walks, hanging out with my friends and family, and binge watching my favorite TV shows and movies.”
Treasurer – Nikhil Desai, Senior
“I am a third year Behavioral Neuroscience undergraduate student at OSU. My post-grad plans include enlisting into the United States Air Force and eventually returning to attend medical school. Other to being in BRAIN, I am also a member of the Phi Delta Epsilon OH Zeta chapter and the Sigma Alpha Epsilon OH Theta chapter. I also am involved in Ginger Yang’s research lab at the Center for Injury Research and Policy at Nationwide Children’s Hospital specializing in sports related in mild traumatic brain injury. Outside of school, I am passionate about fitness and enjoy woodworking.”

“Hello! I am a second year Behavioral Neuroscience major on the Pre-Med track at The Ohio State University. I currently do research at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in the Institute of Genomic Medicine studying post-traumatic epilepsy in pediatric mice models. Besides BRAIN, I am also a member of Empower Sports club, Remote Area Medical club, and am a volunteer at the Wexner Medical Center. Outside of school I love fitness, nature, coffee and thrifting!”
NeuroNights Director – Lailah Rudolph, Sophomore
“Hello! My name is Lailah Rudolph I am a second year neuroscience pre-med major at The Ohio State University. Apart from BRAIN I have worked with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for the last 4 years in fundraising and mentoring. I am also a volunteer at my local hospital in the outpatient surgical center. Outside of school and extracurriculars, I enjoy football games and sunsets.”
BIA 5K Programming Director – Nicole Brearley, Senior
“I am a fourth year undergraduate student studying Behavioral Neuroscience at Ohio State. I’m currently on a pre-med track and work in the Taniguchi Lab in the Chronic Brain Injury program. Outside of BRAIN, I am a member of Alpha Phi Omega and an ambassador for the neuroscience program. I love to be outside, whether that’s relaxing or exploring!”
