In response to a number of requests from Physics instructors, this section is a collection of instructional resources covering a range of tools and topics.

Across the past years, the landscape of instruction changed significantly.  While The Ohio State University has transitioned back to in-person teaching, the instructional side of the institution has certainly gained a great deal of experience in managing multiple modes of instruction.  It’s safe to say that we’ve learned a great deal about how to put technology tools to work.

Some of the content I’ve posted over the past years will be retired as needed, while others will be completely restructured or curated out.  Some portions of what we did to succeed during the pandemic are worth keeping; other components reached the end of their useful lifetimes.

I’m always happy to work with STEM instructors and have iterative discussions across any number of topics that affect our work:

  • How do we stay student-centered in our pedagogy, and our programs and courses?
  • What’s worked well for you over the past N years?
  • What tools and techniques haven’t worked so well?
  • What methods and “real road” experience are you keeping as part of your instructional toolbox?
  • What are you still lacking in resources in order for you to teach better?
