I am a junior at The Ohio State University, pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering. I am an energetic and passionate aspiring engineer, with an intense dedication to academics and student involvement around campus, and a strong focus on environmental awareness, sustainability and social responsibility through the application and development of engineering techniques.
As an engineer, I want to work on new projects that bring my creativity to life. At this point in my life, I have a strong desire to gain practical work experience in engineering areas affecting environmental change and social responsibility. I would like to be at the forefront of work in environmental advancements creating sustainable solutions.
I am currently seeking a collaborative environmental engineering internship or co-op applying skills and experience in project management, teamwork, problem identification, organization and leadership to gain valuable field experience. I want to apply my skills and experiences to new challenges; to design, develop and test ideas, plan their execution, implement my creativity, and evaluate outcomes. I am looking for a co-op or internship where these ambitions are valued.
I am Margo Nelis, an honors student at Ohio State University. My aspirations include studying exercise science as my undergraduate major and continuing my education in medical school. I am a hard-working and creative person who enjoys collaboration and problem solving. My interests in science and passion for helping others is in my career choice and the numerous service projects I have lead and been apart of.
