Final Strategic Life Plan

This first semester has finally come to an end and I have to say, I will be glad when it is over. The last month or so has been pretty good, but the months before were not fun at all. I think I had a really hard time adjusting to college, even though it’s hard for me to admit. I’m doing much better now however, by making sure I have time for fun, which I wasn’t doing before.

I think I have definitely learned how to better enjoy being in college now. I have continued to use my resources here at OSU by attending office hours constantly, emailing professors consistently, and by visiting my advisors. Aside from the university, I have made the best friends I could have ever imagined. I have included pictures of some of my friends in my post, including Alex and Emily.

My health and wellness is going very well, too. I still workout regularly, and make sure to take breaks when I’m feeling stressed. By having more fun, I have definitely learned how to better take care of myself. In addition, my life plan has really not changed over the semester. I still think I would really love to be a dermatologist. I have figured out that I do not want to get my Ph.D., and that is good because it sticks with my plan to have a family and not be consumed by my job. Family is still the most important thing to me, and I don’t think that will ever change. In my post, I included a picture of my immediate family and my boyfriend, as well as a picture Boston, Massachusetts where I hope to live someday. Overall, college is much better now, I’m excited for the future!

This is the link to my resume. It is most likely not perfect, but it is the best I have so far. I’m proud of the things I’ve accomplished so far here at OSU, such as getting a 4.0 in my first semester of college and in Neuroscience, as well as joining a club that I love (the traumatic brain injury club). I hope to run for an office position soon, as well as join another club, so hopefully I will have more to add to my resume soon.
