Eat.

Eat. Go. Do.

Without even realizing it, I have completed the entireĀ Eat. Go. Do. project, and I LOVED every minute of it!

I completed the Eat. part of my Eat. Go. Do. project by eating ice cream I have never even heard about before. It all started when I rushed for an academic sorority, called DOK (Delta Omega Kappa). For my interview, two of the girls decided to take me to Graeter’s Ice Cream. I have never been to a Graeter’s before, I didn’t even know what it was. Let me tell you though, IT. WAS. AWESOME. Like the best ice cream. It was so creamy and soft and amazing! I got my usual cookie dough, because I had to judge how good their ice cream was by getting what I always get. So, in sum, I went somewhere I had never gone before, and I ate something I have never eaten before. However, I’m only going to count this trip as my Eat.location-graeters-arlington

Go.

I completed the Go. part of the Eat. Go. Do. project by going to Marcella’s. Marcella’s is an Italian restaurant in the Short North that was amazing. I have never explored the Short North until that night with my friend Emily, and we had an amazing time. We were so hungry, we just decided to stop and eat at Marcella’s, and I really think it was the best decision we could have made. The food was AMAZING. We shared their bruschetta, and I had wonderful mushroom tortellini. It was a great time, and it was a great way to complete my Go. part of my Eat. Go. Do. project. I will definitely go to Marcella’s again, as well as the Short North.IMG_0941 IMG_0940 IMG_0938 IMG_0937

Do.

I also completed my Do. by joining a sorority called Delta Omega Kappa (DOK)! I actually never thought I would ever join a sorority. I’m just not that kind of girl. I don’t like lots of girly social things and paying to be in something like that just didn’t appeal to me. However, when my friend told me of this sorority that was only for Pre-Health majors, and on top of that was an ACADEMIC sorority that didn’t participate in the typical crazy rush week, I became interested. I think it was fate, because I registered to rush just two days before all the events started. In the end, I fell in love with all of the girls and everything they do and stand for. On Sunday January 31st, I got a phone call from a girl in DOK that I had gotten a bid, and the girls were downstairs to pick me up! I was so excited! I’m so excited to be a part of DOK, and I can’t wait to see how it enhances my experience here at OSU.IMG_0996 IMG_0989 IMG_0992
