I also completed my Do. by joining a sorority called Delta Omega Kappa (DOK)! I actually never thought I would ever join a sorority. I’m just not that kind of girl. I don’t like lots of girly social things and paying to be in something like that just didn’t appeal to me. However, when my friend told me of this sorority that was only for Pre-Health majors, and on top of that was an ACADEMIC sorority that didn’t participate in the typical crazy rush week, I became interested. I think it was fate, because I registered to rush just two days before all the events started. In the end, I fell in love with all of the girls and everything they do and stand for. On Sunday January 31st, I got a phone call from a girl in DOK that I had gotten a bid, and the girls were downstairs to pick me up! I was so excited! I’m so excited to be a part of DOK, and I can’t wait to see how it enhances my experience here at OSU.
