For the remainder of my experiences for my Coffee and Tea themed list, I visited Mission Coffee, Fox in the Snow Café, The Roosevelt Coffeehouse, and Impero Coffee with Matt. In my opinion, my favorite experience was the first visit in this project with Matt and Juliet. This was my favorite experience, since I was able to chat with Juliet more and I was able to catch up with Matt. I learned that Columbus is a really diverse city with a hotspot for coffee shops that I hope I could work in one, someday. This experience kind of has influenced me to explore more about the different coffee shops in Columbus. I would recommend that you go around midday, if you want the least amount of people in the shop, but if you want the best experience, it would be in the morning or at night.
I went to visit the rest of these shops on a Saturday morning to midday. It took longer than I expected, since I am unfamiliar with the buckeye app and all the shops are around the short north district or close by it. The first one I went to on my journey was Mission Coffee. My experience was moderately okay, it was decently full, since it was in the morning. I ordered a regular tea, since I am not much of a coffee person. It was decently loud, but it was pleasant. I would recommend it for a friend, but the noises still bother me.
My next stop was the Fox in the Snow Café. I did not order anything in these next few shops, since I was not feeling to drink more caffeine that day. It had a pretty modern and sleek look to the design and architecture. There is a lot of monochrome colors as the background and a tannish color as the main focal point. The atmosphere felt a little more towards quick access and leaving, but that is in my opinion. Also, in my opinion, I would recommend this coffee shop, at least to get a taste of the atmosphere it was trying to create.
My next stop was The Roosevelt Coffeehouse. The shop kind of had a cozy feel to it, but it was not fully expanded. The tables are very close together and there is a counter top like table near the cashier. Not much really stood out, besides the random strength of coffee odor. In my opinion, I would not recommend the place too much, since it felt a little more cramped than some of the other coffee shops on the list.
My final visit in this project was at the Impero Coffee and overall, it felt like a generic coffee shop that you would see down the street. There was a lot of brown color coating around the store, from the furniture to the floor beds. In my opinion, I would not recommend the shop, since it overall felt like a generic coffee shop with no unique qualities about it.
