January Monthly Reflection

January so far has not been a particularly rough month overall, however, I did struggle a bit with starting new classes and getting organized the first week back. I am still struggling with it a little now, but I am doing a little better at time management and getting everything done. Chem especially has been a struggle in this aspect. I believe, however, that I am picking up a lot more information that I did last year, even though we have only done one chapter about Solutions, I really do think that I have a better understanding of the topics than I did last semester. I wouldn’t say that any of the information I have learned has been particularly interesting, however, I did retain a lot more information about Intermolecular Forces than I did last semester. Besides learning in class, I did learn a bit more about myself over break, in terms of finally getting some pain issues figured out. I even went as far as going to a chiropractor which was a big step for me personally. Now I know some stretches to do to hopefully keep from having so much pain which is great. I also have been dressing nicely every day which I think has been helping my productivity a lot for some reason or another. I also learned that I am very independent of my parents and I would like to possibly stay in Columbus over the summer for an internship or a research position if possible, but I am not sure how plausible that is. I have been applying to a very large amount of such positions, but since I have no prior field experience I am not entirely sure if I will get any of the positions, however, I am trying to keep my hopes up that I will get at least one of them.
