About Me

Screen Shot 2015-08-22 at 1.19.37 AM

Hi! My name is Kate Blackburn and I’m excited for my journey at OSU! I am from Chagrin Falls, Ohio where I attended Kenston High School.  I was involved in various activities in high school and tried different classes.  Through this I discovered some things I was interested in.

I am currently undecided in my major, but as of right now I feel I will be heading toward a business path.  In high school some of my favorite courses were Statistics, French, and International Business.  I also enjoyed Chorus, but that was more like a hobby to me.  Discovering I enjoyed these subjects has helped me to narrow down a path I may pursue in the future.  During high school  I also held many leadership roles in various clubs, and I hope to engage myself in some similar activities while I’m here.  I was also active in the performing arts scene, and although I am not sure if I plan to continue that career it will always be an interest of mine. My professional goals following graduation are yet to be determined.  I hope I will find my passion during my time here at Ohio State.  Once I discover my major my goals will be a lot clearer.

I hope I can continue to involve myself in the upcoming years here at OSU.  I aspire to learn and grow as a person while I’m here.  I hope to find my passion and begging my journey in pursuing them.  I cannot wait to see what I will encounter!
