About Me

My name is Morgan Billstein, and I am a junior involved in the Biological Sciences Scholars Program. Before moving to Columbus, I lived in a small town in Toledo, OH, where my graduating class at Ottawa Hills High School was just 73 students.

Throughout high school, my interests usually leaned towards math, science, and art classes. Of the sciences I studied, I was most interested in ones relating to the medical field, and I loved my ceramics and jewelry classes. I am extremely fascinated by all aspects of the human body, especially the brain, which has helped me to chose Neuroscience as my major. To incorporate my passion for both art and science, I am also on the pre-dental track hoping to later specialize in orthodontics. My favorite extracurricular activities in high school were sports. I played varsity on both tennis and basketball all four years of school. I also enjoyed several clubs that allowed me to participate in community service. All of these extracurricular activities provided me the opportunity to grow as a leader and push myself out of my comfort zone.

As I begin my journey at The Ohio State University, I hope to challenge myself academically, discover my passions, and make new friendships and unforgettable memories.
