Goals

My goal by the end of the semester is to make a study plan for finals week. I’m hoping that this will provide me with a helpful guideline of specific topics I need to study and when I need to study them by so I am well prepared for my exams. I’m also hoping that creating a schedule will prevent me from procrastinating and will leave me time to relax and still do the things I enjoy leading up to finals week.

My goal by the end of this school year is to find a job. I feel that finding a job will help me explore the opportunities available to me while I’m at OSU, and it will give me experience and responsibilities outside of my academics. I can use my Handshake profile and attend the Career Fair to start networking and to look at potential internships and job positions. I can also explore places on campus and find out if they are currently hiring.

My goal by the end of undergraduate study is to be involved in undergraduate research. I think doing research would be a great opportunity to explore what I’m interested in while also learning about the procedures, methods, and tools used in research labs. I will contact professors whose research interests me and ask if they have any availability in their labs. I can also look for research positions outside of campus.
