Danielle’s Photo of Me

My partner for the photo project was Danielle Kirk. In order to prepare for this project, we went out for lunch together and got to know one other more. We got along swimmingly and instantly started thinking of ideas to show who we truly are. When it was time to take a picture of Danielle, we knew we had to do something fun but simple because that is who she is. She knows how to have fun wherever, especially in the most unexpected places. When we were walking outside, we were having a hard time figuring out exactly where we should take our pictures. We sat down for a bit at a shaded table and looked around at our surroundings. While I was observing, Danielle decided this would be the perfect time to take a picture of me. This was not only because I was being my studious self, but I also burst out in laughter when I saw her trying to capture the moment, showing off my goof-ball side. She knew this was perfect, but we still had to figure out what to do for her personality picture. We decided to change locations to find some inspiration and that is when the idea hit us. Danielle decided to swing around one of the light poles in the middle of the sidewalk. This is perfect for Danielle’s personality because like I said, it is simple, but it shows that she can have fun. It also shows that she doesn’t care who is passing by, she is a free spirit and can have fun on the fly. That is why this picture is the best way to describe Danielle Kirk.

About Me

Hey there! My name is Laura Jane Bentley, but I also go by Larby. I am from Roundhead, Ohio which is in the northwest portion of Ohio. My favorite thing to do in my free time is to watch movies, bake, or color in coloring books! I joined the Arts Scholars program because I really enjoyed the art pieces that I made in high school and I find peace in art. I am majoring in Psychology with a Pre-Medicine track while also minoring in art. I’m hoping to someday become a Pediatric Psychiatrist and I hope to incorporate art therapy into my practice. I enjoy learning about how the human brain functions and why we do the things we do! If you have similar interests, maybe we can talk about them sometime!
