Psychology

Our campus is dedicated to high-quality undergraduate education. Newark Psychology accomplishes this with excellent faculty, small class sizes, award-winning student clubs, first-rate research facilities, and great research and internship opportunities for our students.
Students can receive a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University by taking classes exclusively at the Newark campus.
Faculty in Psychology conduct research and teach in diverse areas of Psychology including Health, Developmental, Social, Cognitive, Applied and Human Experimental Psychology. Students have the opportunity to assist Faculty with their research and may even lead their own research projects. Click here to learn more about the Psychology curriculum.
Newark psychology students are also active with Introspect, a psychology student organization with both Ohio State and COTC students.

English

Whether your interests lie in grant writing for non-profits, Romantic literature, or bringing your own ideas to written life, the English department at Ohio State Newark is here to help cultivate your skills and develop your passions. Small classes and dedicated faculty allow students to better their own passion for reading and writing in relaxed, educationally stimulating classrooms. With guidance and care, English majors who graduate from The Ohio State University at Newark are given the opportunity to create their own unique life paths, from social media to law to teaching to writing your own novel and beyond. They also find a community of friends.

History

Welcome to the academic area of History at The Ohio State University at Newark. We are proud to offer students the high-quality education that one expects of Ohio State Newark, but in a smaller and more personal setting more commonly associated with the liberal arts colleges. Our faculty offers a range of programs, courses and events that are designed to introduce students to the fascinating complexity of the past while strengthening their critical thinking and communication skills and empowering them to better understand the environment around them. We are confident that you will find that our program offers excellence in both academic research and teaching. And, it is kind of fun.
In addition to coursework, students have the option to work with faculty on research, independent study, and internships.
Learn more at the History department website or by contacting Dr. Mitch Lerner at Lerner.26@osu.edu.

Business Management

The Business Management specialization is a Business major through the College Fisher of Business that can be completed entirely on the Newark campus. Upon completion of the curriculum requirements, students will receive the same undergraduate BSBA degree they would have received had they attended classes on the Columbus campus.
