Today’s main focus was to test the program designed for Performance Test 1. Also the group discussed about different designs of the group AEV design.

Lab Activities
During the lab period the group worked on Performance Test 1, and the program still needed to be modified. The group spent a lot of time figuring out an assembing error on the AEV. Then the group decided on using power braking when approaching the gate. And the position parameter for goToAbsolutePosition method as well as parameters used for power braking were tested.

Results and Reflections:
- The group decided to use goToAbsolutePosition to reach the desired point in the midway instead of goFor method.
- The group used power braking when stopping the AEV at the gate.

Continuing testing the program for Performance Test 1. The group continued using the same running pattern, and tested the optimized parameters for a desired run. At the end the group had the AEV checked.

Today’s main focus was to change the AEV design and have it pass the performance test 1. Then the group tested on Performance Test 2 and assigned works for the CDR draft.

The group came up with a new AEV design used for the Performance Test 1, which differed from the first design with a pull-push propeller configuration. The group tested the modified parameters used for the new design. And in the rest of the lab period the group worked on the program for Performance Test 2.
