G.O.A.L.S.

Global Awareness: I would like to increase my global awareness by studying abroad with Ohio State University over a summer before my fourth year in college. As of now, I hope to study abroad in Spain to work towards a minor in Spanish.

Original Inquiry: I would like to conduct wildlife or ecosystem research through Ohio State with an Ohio State University professor during my third and/or fourth year of college. This experience could help me experience my field before getting my zoology degree.

Academic Enrichment: I would like to take at least one upper level course in my intended major, such as EEOB 4402H, Tropical Field Studies, before graduating.

Leadership Development: I would like to take on a leadership role on the Women’s Varsity Rowing team as a coxswain my sophomore, junior, and senior year. I hope to be be seen as a team captain my senior year, which I can attain by always being punctual and doing the right thing inside and outside of  practice.

Service Engagement: I would like to be involved in at least one volunteering activity a semester during my time at Ohio State. For example, I would like get involved in Buckeye-thon volunteering or volunteering at the veterinary school.
