ANISCI 5400.02

Animal Science 5400.02, African Animals II, was the introductory course for going on the study abroad trip to study animal welfare and behavior in South Africa in May.  There had also been an African Animals I course in the summer, which I had been unable to take.

In African Animals II, we learned about leopards, cheetahs, cape buffalo, pangolins, sable antelopes, African wild dogs, honey badgers, ostriches, snakes and rhinoceroses. We looked at the biology, population, threats, and interactions with humans.
