Hey Everyone,
Back again, and for those that are new, my name is Ayman Bazar and this I have a new module for you guys filled with strategies that will help you succeed as a student outside of the classroom. Inside this module the main focus was becoming a better note taker using strategies, becoming an active listener, and also using outside sources to help you deepen your understanding.
The most useful information I found from module 5 was the advise to become an active listener. The module explains active listening as being able to anticipate what is being said while note taking and gives you the ability to reflect on your understanding afterwards. Something I found useful that I already have placed into practice from this module is using outside sources. Khan Academy is a source in particular that I use quite often, because it allows me to be in a similar class environment with a newly explained problem. It even offers quizzes after videos to check your understanding.
My final advice to you guy is to try and become a better note taker as it can really help push your ability as a student to a whole new level.
