Grace Bates is currently pursuing a Zoology and Journalism major with a Pre-Veterinary specialization. Grace is also very interested in Animal Science related courses and working with large and exotic animals.
Her goals are to go to graduate school to get her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and travel to other countries to work with endangered species. Grace wants to take her education and make an impact on the world by helping conservation efforts for at risk species across the globe. She has already taken steps to achieve this goal, earning her Certified Veterinary Assistant’s license in 2020 after spending a year interning with a small exotic veterinary clinic.
Grace is also a member of Marketing, Media, and Communications Scholars class of 2024.
