My name is Maddie Bates and I am a psychology major in the Honors & Scholars program! I have a passion for understanding the way people think and behave and I am considering pursuing a professional degree that would help those struggling with mental illness find ways to combat their adversity. I am a lover of music, whether that be listening to it or creating it, and am always looking for opportunities to incorporate it into my life. I am looking forward to meeting people from many different backgrounds at Ohio State, learning all that I can about my major, and being open to new experiences.
