Module 5 blog post

This module focus was on studying and making sure you study the right way.  Like when the teacher has a powerpoint and there are a lot of slides it is important to not copy down everything on the slide but the things that are important like the main ideas and a few of the other details. To help take notes there are three laid out designs, one of them is the Cornell method which involves dividing the paper in sections so you can write down your important facts on the topic, as well as the instructor’s. Another source of note taking can come from a program called OneNote which organizes your material like a file cabinet.  When watching a video or a podcast it is important to re watch important parts of the video or audio, and pause it if you can’t go as fast as the person is talking.  Podcasts and videos are also really good when it comes to getting another person’s view on the topic. You may learn different things or look at things a different way when persuaded by a different person, you’ll get a interesting looks that you may or may not disagree with, but it is always good to see things from different perspectives to widen the thought process.
