About Me

Joe picture My name is Joseph Batchelor, but I prefer to be called “Joe”. I am from Coshocton, OH. I have one younger brother. I played football and baseball in high school. I was also heavily involved in other school activities and 4-H. One of my most meaningful experiences I had in high school was being named the county fair king. This was especially meaningful to me because I am the first king from the “city” of Coshocton and I hope that sets a precedent that 4-H is not just for people outside of the city limits. I am majoring in political science and am a part of the PSL scholars group. I hope that I can gain more understanding of the political process throughout these upcoming years so I can possibly use these skills to run my own campaign in the future. As I gain more knowledge of my major throughout college, I hope to play a part in working on campaigns and possibly attaining a job at the state capital building.
