An artifact that I think really represents my time so far at Ohio State is a Dunkin’ Donuts coffee cup. As I came to college I figured out quickly that I needed to develop really strong study habits and find a good place where I felt I could accomplish work. That place for me was the Dunkin’ Donuts on High Street. During first semester I would wake up early go before class and really grind out a lot of work. It was always a great start to my day and left me feeling motivated to be even more productive in the afternoons. This semester I have class starting at 8AM every morning so going before class is not really an option, but I now go some afternoons when I need to escape my dorm and get a few hours of focused studying done. I think this artifact represents the transition to college and the growth necessary to be able to adapt to this new academic level.
