Global Awareness: In my first semester here at Ohio State, I have been able to experience a variety of new cultures. I have become more aware and accepting of the differences in each person’s culture. During my time here, I also hope to find an opportunity to study abroad and help those in underprivileged countries get the medical attention they need.

Service Engagement: Throughout my time here at Ohio State I hope to find new and exciting ways to engage myself in the community. I plan to get involved in volunteering at the local hospitals throughout the year. I also plan to take part in a week long camp in Cincinnati this summer which helps children with disabilities, such as Down Syndrome, learn how to ride a bike. I also hope to find numerous other ways to get involved in the local community.
