Year in Review

Although I had the opportunity to begin acclimating toward online schooling in the latter portion of high school, my first year of college has been extremely challenging. In the beginning of this year, I found myself spreading myself thin and sacrificing my mental health for things not relevant to my goals. By identifying my priorities, I was able to restructure the way I spent my time and the people, extracurriculars, and hobbies I dedicated my energy toward. Making my wellbeing a priority has changed my mental health and helped me figure out what I want to do in life. I changed my major, made new friends, and have discovered and indulged in activities I enjoyed, all while balancing academics. I’ve learned that time management and finding a balance that benefits you and your happiness is perhaps the most powerful tool you can use for success.
