Mission Concept Review

Approach to the Mission Concept Review:

The mission concept review document outlines the objectives of the Alternative Energy Vehicle project. Division N of the Baker International Group plans to follow the deadlines stated in the MCR, as well as documenting group meetings in great detail in order to identify potential set-backs and innovative phases during the development of the vehicle. Research and Development pertaining to braking methods and propeller configuration will occur to analyze programming techniques and designs in order to maximize the efficiency of the AEV as a means of transportation. The maximization of efficiency to create the lowest possible budget will occur in three different categories: initial design cost, energy cost and time cost. By creating a lightweight, aerodynamic AEV, time costs will significantly decrease as well as the initial design costs and energy costs. This AEV will also be stable enough to successfully stay balanced on the monorail transportation medium through the entirety of its use, as well as use efficient methods of braking when loading cargo for the sake of consumer safety. Division N will collaborate with the other two groups in order to create the most effective and efficient AEV to transport materials from one area to another.
